Month: July 2026

An Ordinary Person

No matter how unremarkable your life may feel, God can accomplish incredible things through you.

Matthew 4:18-20

Peter was an ordinary man who lived in an extraordinary time. His was the generation that saw Jesus live, die, and rise again.
It was through his brother Andrew that Peter met the Lord (John 1:40-42). When Jesus invited them to become disciples, both brothers left their fishing trade to follow Him (Matt. 4:20).
Peter demonstrated an eagerness to be near Jesus. Whether encountering Christ on the water during a storm (Matthew 14:27-29) or speaking to Him during His transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-5), Peter was devoted to his Master’s service.
In the beginning, Peter was quick to speak and act, and this impulsiveness created problems for him. For example, when Jesus was talking about His own imminent suffering and death, Peter objected, as if he knew better than the Lord. Christ’s rebuke was swift and direct (Matthew 16:21-23). The apostle learned from his mistakes and was later given great responsibility. He is a good example of growth—learning to listen before reacting, trusting Christ’s wisdom over his own instincts, and maturing through his mistakes.
The Lord chooses ordinary people like Peter to build His kingdom. When we love and obey Jesus, He accomplishes more through us than we could ever imagine.

Daily Prayer

📖 Isaiah 40:29, 31 (KJV):
“He giveth power to the faint… but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles…”

I decree in the mighty name of Jesus: The Lord is renewing your strength today. Every form of weariness, discouragement, and weakness is broken. You are empowered by the Holy Spirit to finish this month strong.

I declare that you shall rise like an eagle above every challenge, distraction, and limitation. God is giving you fresh strength, clear vision, and supernatural endurance to accomplish His purpose for your life.

As this month comes to an end, you will not end in defeat but in victory. You shall enter the new month with renewed strength, bold faith, divine favour, and greater momentum.

You will run and not be weary, walk and not faint. Your best days are ahead of you, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen! 🙏

Equipped for the Task

Our inadequacy doesn’t disqualify us from God’s calling—it positions us to depend on His strength.

Exodus 4:1-13

Yesterday we discussed how God promised Moses, “I will be with you” (Exodus 3:12)—offering His presence as the sufficient answer to something that seemed impossible. Today we see how God also provides practical help for the tasks He gives us. Sometimes that help comes through the people He places in our life.
Moses’ inability to speak well left him feeling inadequate. But God reassured him by saying, “I, even I, will be with your mouth, and teach you what you are to say” (Exodus 4:12). Then the Lord went a step further by calling Moses’ brother Aaron to proclaim the message (Exodus 4:14-15).
God could have supernaturally given Moses eloquence. Instead, He sent a partner. This shows us something important about how God works.
The Lord had an answer for each one of Moses’ concerns. When we follow Him, He likewise provides what we need to fulfill our calling. Sometimes that’s courage, sometimes it’s clarity, and sometimes it’s another person who shores up our weaknesses. As we step out in obedience, we discover that God’s provision isn’t just a promise—it’s practical help that shows up in real and recognizable ways.

Daily Prayer

📖 Philippians 4:19 (KJV):
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

I decree in the name of Jesus: Every spirit of lack is broken. God shall supply all your needs and open doors of favour, provision, and divine opportunities.

Today, you will walk in wisdom, abundance, and supernatural increase. You shall not only have enough, but become a blessing to others.

You will lack no good thing. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

The Promise of God’s Presence

When we feel helpless or incapable, His presence reassures us that we’re right where we need to be.

Exodus 3:10-17

At times God gives us seemingly impossible tasks. On receiving his call to confront Pharaoh and lead Israel out of Egypt, Moses’ immediate response was, “Who am I?” (Exodus 3:11). He saw his inadequacies clearly—a fugitive with a shepherd’s staff, tasked with challenging the most powerful ruler in the world.
God’s response was clear: “Certainly I will be with you” (Exodus 3:12). This wasn’t a strategy for success or a promise to make the task easier. It was God saying His presence would be enough.
We often look for God to remove obstacles, increase our abilities, or provide a clear path forward when He calls us to difficult things. But sometimes God’s answer is simply, “I will be with you.”
When Moses questioned further, God revealed Himself as “I AM WHO I AM,” the eternal, self-existent One who needs nothing and lacks nothing (Exodus 3:14-15). This is the God who promises His presence—not offering guidance from afar but walking alongside us (Deuteronomy 31:6).
The gift isn’t just that God helps us accomplish hard things. The gift is God Himself. His presence doesn’t always change our circumstances, but it does change everything about how we face them.

Daily Prayer

📖 Jude 1:25
“To the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.”

Heavenly Father, this morning we thank You for being our Almighty God, who is able to keep us from falling and present us faultless before Your glorious presence with exceeding joy. All glory, majesty, dominion, and power belong to You, now and forever.

Lord, order our steps according to Your will and keep us from stumbling or straying from Your purpose. Preserve us and every member of our families. Protect us from evil, danger, sickness, accidents, and every scheme of the enemy.

May Your presence continually surround us, and may Your grace sustain us throughout this day.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. 🙏

Good morning! Wishing you a grace-filled, peaceful, and blessed day.

Walking With Christ

Life takes us down unexpected roads. But with God as our guide, we can walk with confidence wherever He leads.

Colossians 1:9-12

The pathway of faith has divine purpose, and we’re to obey the Lord, no matter what. But even when God’s direction is perplexing, we can count on the fact that He is good.
Walking obediently with Christ doesn’t guarantee an easy life, which is obvious when we consider the apostle John. In his later years, he was exiled to the island of Patmos—a Roman penal colony—simply for preaching the gospel (Revelation 1:9). Isolated from the churches he loved and served, John could have questioned God’s plan. But it was during this exile that he received the revelation that became the final book of the New Testament.
Remember, though, that God is sovereign and works through every circumstance we face. He can bring strength and growth even from difficult seasons, using what we endure as part of His larger purposes.
Choosing obedience and trust is the only way to true peace. Even in exile, John experienced God’s presence and purpose in ways that would encourage believers for centuries to come. The Lord never lets go of His children, whom He will continue to protect and guide throughout life. This is the pathway of faith: believing in Almighty God and following wherever He leads.

Daily Prayer

📖 Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV):
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

I declare in the mighty name of Jesus: God’s divine purpose for your life shall prevail over every uncertainty. His plans for your family, career, and spiritual journey are unfolding with precision, favour, and speed.

Every plot of setback, delay, disappointment, or harm against your progress is dismantled. May God’s peace fill your heart, and may hope rise again where weariness once took root.

I decree that a fresh vision for your future is emerging. Past disappointments are giving way to renewed faith and confidence in God’s promises.

You are stepping into accelerated progress. Doors aligned with your divine purpose are opening wide, and you are entering a season of divine prosperity, stability, and lasting success.

God’s plans for you shall surely come to pass. You will not be delayed, denied, or diverted from your destiny, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen! 🙏

Take My Yoke

Jesus knows we’re imperfect. Yet He graciously gives us the opportunity to learn, grow, and obey without fear.

Matthew 11:28-30

In first-century Judaism, a rabbi’s “yoke” referred to his specific interpretation and application of Torah—the way of life his disciples would adopt. When Jesus says, “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:30), He’s contrasting His grace-based, gentle teaching with the rigid burdens other rabbis imposed.
Christ’s invitation is to choose Him as your teacher and follow His way of life. Unlike the Pharisees, who added rules that made obedience feel impossible, Jesus offers a path characterized by grace, mercy, and rest for the soul. He doesn’t minimize the call to discipleship, but He makes it sustainable and life-giving.
The relief comes not from having circumstances changed, but from living under a different system. As Paul says, Christ set us free from the yoke of slavery to the law (Galatians 5:1). Instead of striving to earn God’s favor through perfect rule-keeping, we learn from Jesus that God’s love is already ours. We grow in obedience not out of fear, but as a response to grace.
Being yoked with Christ means learning His way—one that brings genuine peace for the soul. Life’s pressures may not lessen, but when you follow His teaching, you find what you’ve been searching for: the kind of rest the world cannot give.

Daily Prayer

📖 Romans 8:11 (KJV)
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you…”

I decree that the resurrection power of Jesus Christ will lift you today. Every dead dream, delayed blessing, and dormant opportunity in your life shall come alive.

I declare that the Spirit of the Living God will quicken your body, refresh your mind, prosper the work of your hands, and establish your destiny.

This week, you shall rise above every limitation, fear, and setback. You are entering new levels of favor, strength, and divine breakthroughs.

Go forth in confidence, for the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you.

In Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

Good morning! Have a blessed and victorious week. 🙏
